Notable Features: This demonstration garden surrounds the Nature Center and showcases a diverse palette of natives, including California wild rose, fuchsia-flowered gooseberry, succulent dudleyas, and mature specimens of flannelbush and Desperado sage. A spring wild flower display features lupines, clarkias, poppies, and mariposa lilies. Walk across the street to explore the large Madrona Marsh Preserve, one of the last vernal freshwater marshes in Los Angeles County.
